The Way of The Weasel & Other Fun Stuff

Life is good and it’s about to get better (smile). Mr. Mailman just arrived with my “Dilbert And The Way Of The Weasel – A Guide to Outwitting Your Boss, Your Coworkers, and the Other Pants-Wearing Ferrets in Your Life”. After what I have been thru the last couple of days with all that tech stuff, time to sit down and polish up the ol’ sales, communication, and manipulation skills (smile). Better yet, I bought this used on Amazon for $1.97 plus tax and shipping and it is in perfect condition. Even with the $20 in shipping & handling, a good value don’t you think? Joking. $6.36 out the door and to my door (smile).

O.K., need to get some other things out today or I will fall way behind my already way behind schedule (smile).

Face Book: Justin over at Tricycle Brand Development convinced me (enough) to go back to that Face Book page I started over a year ago, and never did anything with, and start filling out my profile. Deja Vu. Same thing I did with LinkedIn (smile). I must admit, Face Book does a better job of putting a human face behind the name. But, this is why I write instead of go on T.V.. Face made for radio (smile).

Twitter: People are actually starting to follow me on Twitter. Even real people (smile). I wonder whatever happened to Heather and her girl friend? Oh, well (smile). What I don’t get is, why follow me? I don’t have a lot to contribute and certainly not on Twitter. At least, not yet. There is a company from not around here that is following me but I figured that out. They sell CRM packages and I mentioned that word in a Tweet. I know that there are filters out there to help you catch stuff that is “about you”. Jen was kind enough to Tweet about this blog yesterday and hits to this site were way up. Second highest ever. No tweets today and no stats for me (smile).

LinkedIn Answers: I found this to be very interesting. One person who responded to my question on LinkedIn regarding social media had sent me a link to a site…Social Signal. I added it to my reader and was going through their posts the other day and saw a phrase in quotations on one of them about ROI in Social Media. The words were strangely familiar. They were taken directly from my question on LinkedIn. So. I clicked on them. Took me to my LinkedIn profile. Sweeet! And I have gotten referrals, hits, from that site. Sweeeeet (smile)! I put a link to this site on the sidebar. Good reading.

Tags: See those little tags on the bottom of each post that tell you a little more about what that post is about. Well, you can click on those too and they will take you to other WordPress blogs that address that same subject. Sliiiiick (smile)!

Signing off. Thanks for visiting!
