Industrial Brokerage Specialist – Dan Minnaert joined Thornton Oliver Keller’s commercial real estate team in early 2000 as a Commercial Property Manager. In 2002, he transitioned from his previous position to specialize in Industrial Brokerage and Tenant Representation. Dan is a partner in Thornton Oliver Keller. Dan graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Economics. Upon graduation from college, prior to entering the real estate industry, Dan spent 13 years in sales management with Daktronics Inc, in the College and University division. His duties included sales, contract negotiations, and project management for placement of large-scale video replay screens into collegiate athletic sporting venues throughout the western United States.

When Dan started with Thornton Oliver Keller as a Commercial Property Manager, he assumed the management of three commercial properties totaling 273,318 square feet of leasable area. Within three months his responsibilities grew to twelve properties and over 1,232,288 square feet of leasable area. Dan received the Society of Office and Industrial Realtor (SIOR) designation in November 2007. Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field and are represented in 480 cities and 20 countries around the world. SIOR enforces a strict code of ethics and requires designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership. Dan received the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in May, 2009. Recipients must accumulate the transactional experience, complete the required coursework and pass the comprehensive exams. A small percentage of commercial agents achieve this designation, widely regarded as the industry’s highest accreditation. Dan completed Leadership Nampa in 2003 and sat on the Board of Directors for the Nampa Chamber of Commerce. Dan currently lives on the Boise Bench with his wife and four children. Together they enjoy numerous outdoor, sporting and cultural activities.
